Defending the Zionist Story and Reaching Out to Palestinians: A New Model for a Hard Conversation
Yossi published "Letters to My Palestinian Neighbor”, a series of letters to an imaginary Palestinian that explain what Israel and Zionism mean to Jews. Yossi invited Palestinians to respond with their own stories, and many did. The book, which became a New York Times bestseller, has been widely read, and reviewed - including in the Arab world. Yossi will explain what motivated him to write his book and what the responses - both negative and positive - say about the chances for peace.
