Why does Ezra the Scribe link garlic to Friday night conjugal responsibilities, and why did Rav Yehuda, recognized as a leading Torah authority in Babylon, have heads of garlic on his shabbes table? Judaism gives us powerful tools to deal with crises - is garlic one of them? We will sing a niggun, explore talmudic texts, munch some raw garlic and stay healthy in a global pandemic.
